I wouldn't say that. It would be if you'd let it get any worse than it currently is, but that's why we're working together to handle it.
[ Mercedes remains standing, though she'll at least work to get those bandages loose from his arm so she can take a better look at his injury. Might as well do this as quickly as she can while he's feeling cooperative enough to hold doors open for her and sit quietly while griping. ]
Don't be ridiculous. It's a scratch—and it wasn't going to get any worse.
[He says, a touch petulantly as he thinks about his VERY WISE PLAN to go back to the Temple... tomorrow-ish... and let Marianne look at it. Who said anything about sitting quietly? Girl, please. At least he does hold his arm out to make things a tad easier for her, because look: as rude as he is, he isn't, like, completely unappreciative.
And yes, fine, he's also aware that this is a bit more than a scratch! It's a nasty, fairly deep cut, so admire that, Mercedes, as he glowers at the wall.]
Felix, while I agree that stopping the bleeding is important, any kind of sporadic or sharp movement could have reopened this. Not to mention the risk of infection or inflammation and it looks like it came dangerously close to your bone--
[ Mercedes is certainly fussing now, even as she slides one hand under his arm and places her other hand slightly over the cut. With a flex of her fingers, a soft, warm light begins to work on the torn flesh. Not as quickly as it'd usually go for her, but better than it had been upon her arrival. ]
